SHE was getting a little homesick for Brisbane so ballerina Natasha Kusch is thrilled to be coming back for Telstra Ballet in the Gardens next week.
The free event, a performance of Giselle, is on at the Riverstage in the City Botanic Gardens on Friday, May 29, and is the Australian Ballet's gift to Queensland.

The 32-year-old Ukrainian-born ballerina, who was with the Queensland Ballet until earlier this year, is dancing in the lead role of Giselle alongside former Brisbane boy Daniel Gaudiello, a principal dancer, who is leading man Albrecht. "I'm very excited to be coming back to Brisbane," Kusch said. "I spent a year and a half at the Queensland Ballet and it was a great time in my life. I have many wonderful friends there."
